Blood diamond The film is a literary focus on Africa in view of the conflicts that arise due to exploitation of its resources. In this case, the resource focused on is diamond. The film is customary conflict parked and the story behind it is of three people whom their way of living is changed forever by a particular gem stone. Most of the life that the characters live is influenced by outside forces. It describes the war that is happening in Africa especially in Sierra Leone. Natural resources like gas, oil, drugs, gold, minerals and diamonds have been known to cause crises. This film is broadcasted in English but also translated in Spanish and French. Its cast includes a number of people who include Arnold Vosloo, Djimon Houson, Jennifer Connely, and Jimi Mistry, Leonardo DiCaprio and Michael Sheen. It is particularly entertaining; it is fairly well presented and carefully explained in the couple of hours the film takes. The film talks about the course of two men and their life in the hard hit part of Sierra Leone. Houson’s child is picked by the rebels and is brain washed to become a soldier in the rebel uprising. DiCaprio meets with journalist of American origin called Maddy Bowen who is in search of information about the trafficking of gen stones through Liberia and later to the western world. Maddy’s role is somehow considered a moral compass to the viewers watching the film. At some point in the film the three that is Houson, DiCaprio and Maddy encounter a camp of approximately one million people who are homeless. Its location is in Sierra Leone in the year 1999 during which there happens to be a civil war taking place in the country. The two actors joined forces together in missions together like a quest to save the fisherman’s boy taken away from him and brainwashed. He transforms into a soldier and executes an AK 47 rifle in the countries rebel forces which afflict humans and violence that is marked. The mercenary plus the fisherman also wants to get away with a large diamond stone by the fisherman. He had escaped slavery from a rebel leader who was particularly strong. In the process of the forced labor, he finds a large stone of which he manages to hide when there was a shoot-out between the rebel and government forces. The fisherman is the shining star of the movie and a slave who wants his family back together at all costs even if it meant striking a deal with the smuggler. The movie is immensely appealing, and a must see for those that haven’t seen it. Not only is it entertaining but it also speaks directly to the soul. It brings out the idea of how things are in Africa, and remarkably little can be done to count to fix this horrible means of which face it. The two strike a deal that DiCaprio helps Djimon to find his family in the war torn country on condition that they would share the profits of the diamond. In the plot, for the film DiCaprio overhears about a diamond which belongs to Djimon Hounsou. He had buried the diamond somewhere in Africa and its location only known to him. Villages were being terrorized by opposition groups and gangs like the RUF, and people seized and taken in as slaves who were used to look for Diamonds by the river banks. The motive of DiCaprio is to Share the profits of the foundation by its owner Hounson, by this he would make sure that Hounson’s family is safe from the refugee camps also the KUBs which ultimately brings out the idea of how to handle this mission without getting killed in the process. Characters tend to run in the street with crossfire’s there which depicts a clear picture of a world war. Apart form the vim text; dialog was also brought forward. This is what keeps the film entertaining and gets one glued from the start till the end. The movie is not a disappointment at all and instead it is a real thrilling story which has a fascinating theory combined with excellent actors. Blood diamond is considered a movie of the year in 2006 a nominee for about five times in the Academy awards. Its exiting features allow the user to view other existing features in the film which include things like map and players are able to use the options which are in the online polls. It also happens to contain the IME (In- movie Experience) a feature that allows the people viewing to recognize the different ways that are there to accessing materials and interviews when the film is still on display. The cast is exceptionally strong and takes the viewer to a journey that is indeed striking through West African beauty and the also exact harsh conditions that the locals live. The writing of the story is captivating and is in optimal condition. The music that produced is strong and remarkably easy just like in a cinema hall. Sound is all leveled throughout the movie and no distortion is visible. Problems associated with the African continent are demonstrated in this movie. Commodities such as copper, diamond, cobalt and gold to mention only but a few that typically have a high price in the world attract a lot of attention and thus bloodshed bound to happen. Slave gangs in search of diamonds sell them to dealers in London who hoard up the stones so as to maintain the high prices in the world market. The stones which also referred to as ‘conflict stones’ or blood diamonds’ are acutely carefully bought by the dealers. In conclusion, this movie is a must watch for viewers that haven’t watched it. The production of the movie is at its best, so is the development and word pictures. Produced in 2006 and nominated five times for various awards. It appeared for the first time on blue-ray record thus making it more and more powerful and a must monitor and created to secure distinctive features in order to make it more captivating than other movies. Innocent victims like Benjamin who does all he can help a child who was a former soldier to recover dies in the violence that effect the public. The force is frightful but underplayed and put in an action formula. People who are innocent get killed by the two opposite sides. The film is not a review of the matters at hand, but that does not make it any less attractive and unresolved. Africans kill others and some displaced to refugee camps where the living conditions are intolerable. Each and every year the USA purchases nearly nine billon value of gem stones of the world’s sales. Gem stones are truly eye catching and desired by all but to get them are a personal decision and an informed one for that matter. If their possessions are derived from suffering, then the stones would be considered a source of impairment towards lives and countries. Third world countries especially Africa falls into this category and are exploited just for the sake of vanity, and million of profits built by underpaid workers are stored away in banks. What I would say is that the movie Blood Diamond is filled with a lot of talent and, craftsmanship and it brings a lot of attention to some of the global issues that might never have reached the following. Both, Djimon Hounsou and Leonardo DiCaprio offer a stunning performance, but the problem would be if the film is sensible or is politically minded or just a bit of entertainment. The director creates the perfect chemistry between the three principal actors. DiCaprio and Hounsou play their roles perfectly and not only selling by their faces. They have proved to be truly distinctive characters. Hounsou has also brought out the idea of a family guy also a father figure who would do every thing for the sake of his children.
