Such a realization by Plato illustrates man’s weakness at a commission of fault but failure of its admission due to the general consensus of state with a reputed foundation that may not be shaken and the strength of pride among its members whose pure intelligence became corrupted with arrogance. It would be quite apparent after reading and analyzing the text that Plato attempts to convey how the impact of the ‘Apology of Socrates’ guides and substantiates his own wisdom on what could make the capacity for evolving knowledge turn into a desire for destructive gain rather than enlightenment of humanity.

Perhaps it is the duty of fate to allow men to be struck by blindness first so that the coming of light would be as distinct as unfolding one’s eyes to the sight of real marvel, of an overwhelming beauty. To me, this is how Socrates’ apology occurs or comes into being. . we may find ourselves contemplating on why charges and accusations developed at the time when fellow thinkers could have established instead profound interest and query in the newly met concept of the man. What exactly is the sensible basis of accusing a wise man just because other thinkers fail to take personal responsibility of addressing their doubts and still holding the source accountable for limitations and incapacities beyond his control? I simply could not bring myself to comprehend narrow judgments of individuals who had for most parts of their lives been nursed in the arms of philosophy, of reasons they claim to have understood and conducted in full measure for the sake of learning.

What learning was there in convicting an innocent man and subjecting him to the penalty of death even after a remarkable apology? Indeed, he may not be a Physicalist nor a Sophist in formal terms yet what sense does it make to be either by nature if one would only arrive at insecurities rather than discernment of the world? Out of Socrates’ apology emerges not just the essence of ‘knowing that we do not truly know’ but also a discovery that man undeniably loves reason to an extent that desired advantage is acquired.

Nevertheless, if they are defeated in the process of exploring depths of rationalization, they put up defenses via yet another school of thought that would dissolve the incident of former guilt where it
