So our motive in this life should be to be a source of goodness and comfort for society, so that not only do we play our role in the development of society and betterment of mankind, but also be rewarded with the fruit of our deeds in life after death. Becoming a hero is translated in terms of a transformation from a little water creature to a fully formed human baby made from the mother’s womb into this world. Becoming a hero in this world is a similar transformation but on a spiritual level rather than physical one.

As children, we are selfish, we fight over toys and bounties. The journey from childhood to old age is heroic if we eventually overcome our desires for personal benefit and gains, become selfless, and sacrifice for others. Reaching that high standard of spiritual enlightenment is when we are ready to transition into the next world.
