Extract of sample "Developing a New Strategy"

The L&D strategies need to be clear and must mention the learning outcomes whilst promoting the self-esteem of employees. Currently, my focus organization has an effective L&D strategy. Within their budget, they have created opportunities for learning via classroom sessions, seminars, and various job rotations so an employee fully understands and learns different aspects of his job and his role within the organization. As effective as it is, the mundane routine often leads the employees to be strayed. The continuous office routine incorporated with lengthy seminars and classroom sessions sometimes seems meaningless to the employees. Job rotations too are difficult to manage and incorporate. On the other hand, learning from everyday activities or incidental learning must be incorporated into the strategy for better training. Make the training fun so the employees wish to learn and excel. Providing incentives at the end of the training session would optimize the employee’s performance. The employees must be sent to the field for some practical knowledge and must be trained to implement these details when they return to the office.
