To insure that the tennis club runs in a smooth fashion, and to insure that the business owner has minimal difficulties in the beginning and onward, it is fitting to recommend to the owner of this newly found business the technology that will be the best fit and demonstrate why this is the case, which is the sole objective of this report.

The primary piece of technology that is highly recommended is a top-notch computer that contains optimal specifications. The reason that such a piece of technology is recommended is that if a computer is top notch and has outstanding specifications, it will not only run quickly, which is important in today’s fast-paced society, this computer will be able to run many tasks and peripherals all at one time. In a world where multitasking is common, this is very important. One such Computer that fits these requirements is the HP Pro 3010 small form factor PC. With an Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core E5300 Processor that runs at an ultra-fast speed of 2.60 GHz, 3GB DDR2 RAM, and a 320GB Hard Drive, this computer will enable the business professional to not only complete tasks at the speed of lightening, but will also be able to store large amounts of data without having to run out of disk space. This particular desktop PC comes with Windows  Professional; however, should the business professional prefer XP Professional for the sake of familiarity, this is possible to obtain, as this business PC comes with downgrading rights (Misco.co.uk, 2010). For the full details on this business desktop PC, refer to Appendix 2.

Along with a high-quality computer, there needs to be a printer of the same caliber. This printer must possess the capability of printing off documents quickly, and the printer must also possess a number of functions that will enable staff to design fliers, posters, and business cards in an effective and efficient manner. One printer that is sure to do the job well is the wireless HP Deskjet F4580 Multifunction Inkjet Printer. This printer not only prints photos, graphics, and documents in a high-quality fashion, it is the perfect solution for any business, as it contains a printer, scanner, and copier. Having a multifunction printer is helpful in that it enables business owners to fax necessary documents straight from their computers without the need for a fax machine, and documents that need to be copied and produced in large volumes can be done so with ease (PC World, 2010). For additional information on this printer, see appendix 2.

Now that we have discussed what pertinent technology is recommended to insure that this new tennis club is successful for years to come, it is fitting to recommend a software package that will take care of every business need. One software package that will address all business needs is the Microsoft Office Professional Suite. This particular suite enables business professionals to complete a multitude of tasks with a variety of spectacular tools at their fingertips. For one, Microsoft Access enables business professionals to keep track of important data. This comes in handy when it comes to keeping track of who has memberships, as well as pertinent employee information. Microsoft Excel enables business professionals to keep track of data also, but it is better for computing figures and accounting information. If one should want to publish a website to promote the club, Microsoft Office Publisher provides all of the tools needed to publish a professional-looking webpage to the web in no time at all. If presentations ever need to be done, this is no problem either because Microsoft PowerPoint will enable one to do presentations that provide a plethora of information to the audience and captivate them the entire time with awesome visual and sound effects. Then, there are the fliers, posters, business cards, and various letters that must be written. Microsoft Word is awesome in this regard in that it enables professionals to design documents in a number of formats. Microsoft Word also contains a number of templates that one can use to obtain an appealing professional look (Microsoft, 2010). For more information about Microsoft Office Professional Suite, check out Appendixes 1 and 2.

The above-recommended technology, as well as the software package, is a wonderful fit for the tennis club. They are a very inexpensive solution, in that these tools do not cost a great deal of money, and they help to save time. Not to mention, they perform a number of tasks that will aid in the success of this operation for years to come.
