(Assignment) Slumber Party Kit Introduction Recently, slumber parties or sleep over parties have gained great popularity across the United States. Slumber party is a child participatory program commonly held during some special events like birthdays. On such occasions, guests are invited to a friend’s house to stay and celebrate the event night together. Traditional participant activities like talking, eating, playing, and sleeping lately are some of the main features of a slumber party; and sometimes, some pre-scheduled activities like restaurant parties and skating are also conducted prior to slumber parties (Boardman’s Birthday).

This plan would help Pillow Fight Night, the slumber party kit provider to employ its market research effectively. Methods and Procedures ‘Pillow Fight Night’ sells slumber party kits and it offers a wide range of benefits to its customers. Since there are a large number of websites that offer slumber party kits to its customers, Pillow Fight Night will have to analyze recent trends in market for its further expansion. In order to identify the threats and opportunities for Pillow Fight Night in market, the company may use several methods in its market study.

Firstly, the company can make use of online survey methods in the form of Google advertisements programs, which should be published on some popular sites so that the company may collect feedback from those who click on the advertisements. In the advertisements, there must have a column provided for knowing customer requirements. According to Christ (2009), it is suggestible for the company to organize some TV programs or road shows as an advertisement strategy which would assist the firm to publicize various packages.

In such programs, the company should try to familiarize its products and services. The website mainly markets a few packages; hence they need to examine whether these kits satisfy their customers at the anticipated level. Pillow Fight Night offers only custom items to its consumers and the company must collect feedback regarding this strategy. Similarly, it is worthwhile to collect feedback from the existing customers since mouth publicity has more power than any other methods. DATA ANALYSIS AND FINDINGS The collected data must be tabulated on the basis some specified criteria so that it would be easy for the company to analyze it effectively.

While analyzing the data, the officials must ensure that the collected data is precise and reliable. Similarly, the company has to make adequate changes in the interpretation criteria while analyzing the data related to different demographic regions since variance in demographics would largely affect the customer tastes and preferences. In the decision making phase, the company must ensure that the proposed decision would not negatively affect the company in future. Likewise it is also essential that the company must be willing to change its current strategies and packages that are evidently criticized by the customers.

The company should be always concerned about retaining the existing customer while they search for new potential opportunities in the market. Works Cited Christ, Paul. Road Show Marketing.
