The role of Sarah’s mother is to rejuvenate the care and attention that she stopped showing to her daughter after being remarried (Summers, 2012).The plan involves three stages, which are the initial stage, the transitional stage and the final stage when Sarah will go back to her mother’s home. In the first stage of medial care, Sarah should visit a psychologist at the Family First Psychological Services centre. This is a process that will involve an examination of Sarah’s condition for a referral to a doctor for medication.

Sarah uses cannabis sativa and it could have affected her health, and thus getting medical attention is important (Summers, 2012).After receiving the medical attention from a doctor, Sarah’s mother should spare time during the weekends to bond with her daughter. This is important to rebuild Sarah’s esteem and motivation towards life. It will serve to rekindle the love between mother and daughter that was lost. Moreover, the family should be a part of the recuperation process of Sarah by availing themselves to bond with her.

This will create a good relationship between the stepfather, the half siblings, the mother and Sarah. These stages are implimented under the social support system to ensure full recovery of Sarah (Summers, 2012).The last stage of the case management plan is the assessment of the fines that were incurred when Sarah was violent. These are the damages that Sarah caused when she was using the cannabis sativa. The family will thus negotiate with the court and finally repay them (Summers, 2012).ReferencesSummers, N. (2012). Fundamentals of case management practice: Skills for human services.
